This year has been utterly fantastic for new releases in "our" genre of music...So good, in fact, I kinda dread doing my year-end ranking!! However, "Redfish Island" simply has to be a top 5 pick. This is really fine work, my friend, not only from a musical standpoint, but lyrically, as well. I really enjoy your way with words!! I'm getting ready to tell the world of Trop-Rock lovers about Kelly McGuire and "Redfish Island." Keep up the great work!!

I received the demo of "Club Blonde" yesterday and it's playing (loudly) in the office as I type. Based on these songs (as well as those on Redfish Island), you should never, ever play another cover song in public. Your new stuff is equal to the best of mainstream country ... not slicked-down, glossed-over Nashville pop. These are excellent songs. the production and instrumentation are great.

Your special sailing sounds have taken on quite a following out here in Hawaii especially at the Kaneohe Yacht Club bar and amongst the cruisers that come and go. I have a Slocum 43 that was originally purchased in Texas and I now sail around the islands, and I've come close to wearing out the CD player listening to your music with a Stoli in hand.
